The Italian-based two-wheeler manufacturer Apralia is all set to unveil the much-awaited bike RS 457 in India today. The sports bike is making its way into the Indian market just ahead of the country’s first MotoGP motorsports, which is scheduled to kickstart on September 22 and will continue till September 24.
It has been reported that the performance-oriented sports bike has been developed in the company’s headquarters in Italy, and will be manufactured in India’s Maharashtra. The fully-faired sports motorcycle is expected to go on sale in the festive season. However, the company did not release any official details about the same as yet.
Aprilia RS 457 Design
The all-new RS 457 will share a lot of design elements with its older sibling RS 660. However, the motorcycle will also carry its own identity, which is expected to get a good response from the customers.
Talking about the exterior look, the Rs 457 will come with an aggressive stance loads of fairing, and appealing front fascia, which will enhance its overall look. The bike will also come with a sleek body design, a full LED headlight setup, paired with transparent wiser and aero winglets.
Apart from this, it will also have a preload adjustable 41 mm USD fork up on the front, a 130 mm mono-shock at the rear, a 320 mm disc with Bybre 4-piston radial calliper, and a 220 mm disc at the back with only a piston floating calliper.
Aprilia RS 457 Feature
When it comes to the features, the motorcycle seems loaded with tonnes of advanced features. The list includes multiple riding modes, three levels of traction control, dual-channel ABS, and a 5-inch TFT cluster display, which will allow the riders to monitor important information such as fuel capacity, gear positioning, mileage, and whatnot.
As far as the displacement is considered, the bike will be powered by a brand-new 457 cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, which is likely to generate a max power of around 47 bhp. The unit is expected to be mated with a 6-speed gearbox. However, the company is yet to release the official details about the same.
