Newly appointed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ended fuel subsidies in Nigeria, saying it is no longer sustainable.
He gave instructions at Eagle Square Abuja, giving his first address to Nigerians.
He said, ‘On fuel subsidy, the budget that was received before I took over and what I have heard is that there is no provision for subsidy.
“The fuel subsidy is gone,” he said simply.
