The Central Industrial Security Force Act of 1968 established the Union’s armed force known as the CISF. As of 01.06.2021, the force, which was established with the assistance of 3129 individuals in 1969, had grown to 1,63,613 members. CISF has 74 other formations, including eight training institutes and 12 reserve battalions. In accordance with its mandate, CISF ensures the safety of establishments and property in addition to staff members on the premises.

For the positions of Constable, Driver and Constable, Driver-cum-Pump Operator within the organization, the Central Industrial Security Force has issued an online call for applications. CISF Driver Eligibility Criteria’s 2023

The following are the educational requirements, experience, age limit, and required papers for the position of Driver in the Central Industrial Security Force.  Candidates should be aware that the upper age limit for reserved candidates is based on government rules; more information about this can be found in the official notification.

• Education Qualification- An individual must have passed 10th Exam from a recognized board.

• Experience- An individual must have an experience of driving of at least 03 years.
• Required Documents- Matriculation Mark Sheet & Certificate and Driving Licence.
• Age Limit- An individual’s age must not be below 21th years and above 27th years as of February, 2023.

Selection Process  

Selection process for the pole of Driver consists of three stages, which are as follows.

• PET/ PST, Trade Test & Documentation
• Written Exam
• Medical Examination

The Written Examination, the second stage, will be given to candidates who successfully completed the first stage.
