The new chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, NGF Abdulrahman Abdulrajak has assured that the body will also continue the tradition of maintaining close and cordial relations with the President and all levels of government.
Abdulrahman, who is also the governor of Kwara State, emerged with a consensus at a closed door meeting of the governors held in Abuja late on Tuesday.
He succeeds Aminu Tambuwal, the outgoing governor of Sokoto State, who becomes the chairman of the forum in 2022.
