Authorities say a missing Missouri ER doctor found dead in an Arkansas lake had an apparent gunshot wound.
Dr. John Forsyth, 49, went missing on May 21 after being transferred to a hospital in the Ozarks, days after proposing to his fiancee. His body was found nine days later in Beaver Lake, Arkansas.
The body was found Tuesday afternoon by a kayaker in Benton County, the county sheriff’s department said in a statement.
