Post Malone apologized Sunday to his St. Louis fans for an onstage accident that sent him to the hospital and shortened his set the night before at the Enterprise Center.

In the middle of a song on Saturday, Malone fell into a hole on the stage, which had been opened moments earlier to lower an instrument.

“I love it,” he said in a video message posted on Twitter on Sunday. He said that he had just come back from the hospital, where he was given pain medicine.

“I want to apologize to everyone in St. Louis,” Malone said. “Next time I come across like this, we’re going to do a two-hour show for you so we can make up for some of the missing songs.”

There should be no impact for the rest of the tour, which continues Sunday night in Columbus, Ohio.
