A college professor who held a knife to A’s throat New York Post The reporter has been fired.
A spokesperson for Hunter College confirmed that the university had dismissed Shailene Rodriguez after a video surfaced showing her holding a long blade to a man’s throat. Post Journalist Raven Fenton outside his apartment.
Ms Rodriguez then followed the reporter and a photographer into the street, a video published by Post shows.
Journalists went to the visual artist’s Bronx apartment to talk to her about a viral video showing her criticizing anti-abortion protesters on the campus of the City University of New York.
Post Claimed Miss Rodriguez shouted at the couple to run through her door “or I’ll cut you with this knife”.
He allegedly stabbed the reporter in the throat after opening the door and followed them after they left.

College spokesman Vince DiMicelli told Post: “Hunter College strongly condemns the unacceptable actions of Shailene Rodriguez and has taken immediate action.
“Rodriguez has been relieved of his duties at Hunter College, effective immediately, and will not return to teaching at the school.”
Ms Rodriguez was filmed earlier this month confronting anti-abortion activists from Students for Life of America on the college’s New York campus.
“You are not educating s***, this is f***ing propaganda,” Ms. Rodriguez, an adjunct assistant professor, said in the viral clip.

Ms. Rodriguez has also been contacted for comment.
On her personal website, Ms. Rodriguez describes herself as a visual artist, writer and community organizer who works on “survival strategies against erasure and subjugation.”
