Sam Curran Wiki Biography:- Samuel Matthew Curran is an English cricketer who plays for England in all formats. In domestic cricket, he represents Surrey, and has played in various Twenty20 leagues, plus for Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. On 23 December 2022, he was the subject of the highest bid in the history of Indian Premier League, when he was bought for £1.85 million (Rs. 18.5 crore) by Punjab Kings.
Curran created his Test and One Day International place in 2018, and his Twenty20 International place in 2019. He was part of the England team that won the 2022 T20 World Cup, taking the most wickets for England at the tournament and was named Player of the Tournament. Sam plays as a left-handed all-rounder, bowling medium fast. He holds the English record for best T20I figures, 5–10 opposed to Afghanistan in 2022.

IPL career
Kings XI Punjab had picked Curran to play for them in the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League. He suit the youngest player to take a hattrick in the IPL. The 21-year-old Curran was the most worthy English player in the IPL auction at Rs 5.5 crore, purchased after an intense biding war between Chennai Super Kings & Delhi Capitals.
Test Career
The allrounder got his 1st maiden call-up to the English side in January 2018 opposed to New Zealand, moreover, he did not play any Test during the course of the series and warmed the bench.
ODI Career
Sam created his ODI place in a thriller opposed to Australia at the Old Trafford in Manchester on 24 June 2018. Australia was bowled out for 205 in the 1st innings. Sam took 2/44 in 6 overs.
