Six people have died and dozens of homes have been swept away by floods in central Afghanistan.
Abdul Wahid Hamas, spokesman for the Taliban’s governor in central Ghor province, said three women and a child were killed when their house was washed away in the town of Firozkoh on Tuesday.
Hamas said that in the Pasband district, in the same province, a man and a woman were also swept away and later found dead, while another person was missing.
He said more than 100 houses and about 200 hectares of agricultural land were destroyed, as well as canals used to irrigate the fields were damaged.
