A woman bombarded with messages in her four-month stalking campaign for Premier League footballer Mason Mount after he broke off their relationship is headed to a court.
TikToker Orla Melissa Sloane, 21, pleaded guilty to harassing the Chelsea midfielder, 24, and her former partner Billy Gilmour, 21, as well as fellow blues star Ben Chilwell, 26, at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
The court heard she slept with Mr Mount, who had surgery for a pelvic injury last month, after they met at a party at the home of her England partner Mr Chilwell in November 2020.
Prosecutor Jason Seatle said they kept in touch for about six months before Mr Mount “decided that the relationship was not progressing”.

“On informing Miss Sloan about this she was subjected to a bombardment of messages,” he said.
“He started asking her to stop messaging before blocking the number.
“Then he started getting messages from new numbers and every time he blocked those numbers he would get messages from a different number.”

Mr Sittle said a total of 21 different numbers were used to contact Mr Mount with some messages including a collage of photographs of the player with other women.
The court heard that in a message from an Instagram account called “Devil Baby”, she said: “I can morph at any moment so let me apologize and set things right.”
Another showed an Apple account buying a new number for £12.99 with the words: “I’m not buying food anymore so I can get more numbers. I’ll be faster than you.”
“It has had a negative impact on my performance and professional life,” said Brighton’s Billy Gilmour

Mr Sittle said Mr Mount was “worried that she had an obsession or attachment to him and didn’t know what he was capable of”.
Mr Mount said in a statement: “Miss Sloane knows roughly where I live and where I train.
“I am concerned that she may come to my training center if she is unable to contact me.”
The court heard that other messages were aimed at professional footballers, friends and family members, including left-back Mr Chilwell.
He described how he found Sloan’s behavior “anomalous”, while Scotland midfielder Mr Gilmour said his messages had had a “huge impact” on his life when he joined Brighton from Chelsea last September.
He said, ‘I can’t sleep and I have to take sleeping pills.’
“It has had a negative impact on my performance and professional life.”
“Being in a new city where I don’t have friends or family, it’s really unsettling.”

The court heard that Mr Gilmour had initially exchanged messages with Sloan before saying he did not want them to continue having contact and had no relationship with her.
But she claimed to be pregnant in allegations described in court as “completely fictitious”.
“I don’t know who I can trust anymore,” Mr. Gilmour said.
“Some information only those close to me would know.”
Sloane, from Exeter, pleaded guilty to causing “serious alarm or distress” by stalking Mr Gilmour between September 10 and October 28 last year.
He also admitted stalking Mr Mount between 19 June and 28 October last year, as well as harassing Mr Chilwell between 20 October and 29 October 2022.
District Judge Nita Minhas adjourned sentencing until June 20 to prepare a report, noting that the most serious offense against Mr Gilmour exceeded the threshold of custody.
He got unconditional bail.
